Morecambe (pronounced /'m?rk?m/) is a resort town and civil parish within the City of Lancaster district of Lancashire, England. As of 2003 it has a resident population of about 45,000. It faces into Morecambe Bay.
Morecambe and nearby village Heysham have a combined population of 51,400.[1]
