Original 11 1/2 inch x 9 3/8 inch Still of LOUISE BROOKS & JEAN BRADIN in the 1930 Augusto Genina Drama Prix de beauté (MISS EUROPE), based on an idea by René Clair.
Prix de Beaute stars cult figure Louise Brooks as a nondescript typist for a Parisian newspaper. On a whim, Brooks submits her photograph to the Miss France Contest. To everyone's amazement, and her boyfriend’s displeasure, she wins the contest, and is sucked into a whirlwind of photo ops and interviews at the Miss Europe contest in Spain.
The still, on doubleweight paper, is in very good condition with slight surface marks and corner pinholes.
