Seller's Description
A nice little vintage fish shaped money box in a brown treacle glaze. No maker's mark only a number '12' but could possibly be by Denmead pottery as they made similar hedgehog money boxes ? It has a plastic stopper marked 'Regina Ind. Ltd Stoke'. It has a chip just inside the money slot, I suspect someone must have wedged in a pound coin and tryed to get it out, being vintage this wasn't designed for the thick pound coins but is ideal for collecting those fiddly 5p pieces ! Apology for the light reflections in the photos it has a very glossy glaze. Height approx. 10.5cms, length approx. 13cms, width at base 5.5cms x 4cms.
