Simplicity 5251 sewing pattern. This 1981 vintage sewing pattern will make a girls' lined hooded coat, unlined quilted vest and hooded jacket and vest in a size 8.
Parts of the pattern have already been cut out.

CHILD'S AND GIRLS' LINED HOODED COAT, UNLINED QUILTED VEST AND HOODED JACKET AND VEST:
V. 1 jacket and V. 2 vest, have separating front zipper, lower casing with cord drawstring and top-stitched pockets in side seams. V. 1 has hood with cord, drawstring and long sleeves with elastic wrist casings V.2 has collar. Top-stitched V. 3 duffle coat has toggle front, buttoned hood, long set-in sleeves, patch pockets. buttoned hood and contrasting fabric lining. V. 4 vest has button front and patch pockets.

FABRICS:
Jacket V. I and vest V. 2 In double faced quilted fabrics only. Coat V. 3 in wool and wool types: melton, flannel, Linen types. Chino. Coat V. 3 lining in cotton flannel. Vest V. 4 in imitation leather or suede backed shearling fabric only. Extra fabric needed to match plaids, stripes, one-way designs. Use nap yardage and nap layouts for one-way design fabrics. Not suitable for obvious diagonal fabrics.

NOTIONS:
Thread. Jacket V. 1 or Vest V. 2: Separating zipper: 30cm for sizes 4 and 6, 45cm for sizes 7, 8, 10. 12 and 14. Coat V. 3: One 1.5cm button, three toggle closures. Vest V. 4: Five 1.5cm leather buttons.
