Style 1894 sewing pattern. This 1977 dated pattern, by Simplicity Patterns, can be used to make a misses' dress or top, skirt and trousers in a size 16 (Eur. 42) (Bust 97cm (38")).
The pattern is uncut and factory folded.

MISSES' DRESS OR TOP, SKIRT AND TROUSERS:
Dress or top with center back seam has collar, Front band, short set-in sleeves and top-stitched trim. View!, 3 and 4 sleeves have turn-back cuffs. View 1 and 2 have side front pockets. View 2 has purchased belt. View 4 and 5 have self fabric tie belt. Four gore skirt is slightly flared. Skirt and trousers have waistband and side zipper.

Finished back length:
View 1 and 2 from 40" to 42"; View 3,4 and 5 from 27-1/4"to 29-1/4"; Skirt from 24" to 25". Side length of trousers from 42" to 43".
Width at lower edge:
View 1 and 2 from 48" to 58-1/4"; View 3, 4 and 5 from 42-1/4" to 52-1/4"; Skirt from 70 to 81-1/4"; Each leg of trousers from 21-3/4" to 26-1/2".

To complete garment:
Thread. View 2: Purchased belt. View 2 and 5: Bias binding. Skirt and trousers: 8" zipper.

Suggested fabrics:
Cotton, poplin, denim, linen, rayon, pique, wool/cotton blends, jersey, crepe, shantung, silk and synthetics. View 1, skirt and trousers also in fine wool. View 3,4 and skirt also in color woven checks/stripes, gingham, seersucker and seerloop. Skirt and trousers also in gaberdine, barathea, lightweight flannel and fine tweed.

The envelope is in fair condition with corner damage, creasing and small tears on the bottom edge. There is a price tag on the front of the envelope and the front has been stamped by the fabric shop. (see Pictures).

The pattern pieces and instructions are in good, unused condition.
