THE HAYWAIN Miniature World of Peter Bates Lt'd. New In Box 3.5" Brass Frame

The Haywain is a painting by John Constable, finished in 1821. It depicts a rural scene on the River Stour between the English counties of Suffolk and Essex. The scene takes place near Flatford Mill in Suffolk. The left bank is in Suffolk and the right bank is in Essex.

This miniature painting had been created by Marcella DeShears, a member of the Royal Society of miniature painters.  The picture is framed with a 3-inch brass frame and hanger.  Also included is the 6th edition catalog of Marcella DeShears' other artwork.   Everything is in new condition, except for a stain on the bottom of the box, which was there when I acquired it and does not affect the sturdiness of the box.  Made in England.
