The Polar Bear News, Printed Neheim, Germany Friday January 25th 1946. No 15 New Series. 8 pages.
The Weekly Newspaper of the Forty-Ninth (West Riding) Infantry Division. A bit 'ragged' around the edges and some splits along the spine, but overall it has survived in quite good condition. This was primarily aimed at our forces stationed in Germany. It is quite a collectable newspaper as very few have survived. This issue has browned in colour over the years, but is still for its age in good readable order. Also included 4 pages of another edition Firday January 11th 1946. 1 page has some pencil marks. These were family owned from new.
