This 96 page magazine contains crafts, recipes, and home making ideas.

The theme for this edition is “Fall Projects”.

From the Editor

Dear WORKBASKET Reader:

It’s fall and my favorite time of the year. Clear air and crisp, cool days that are certainly invigorating and seem to invite you to take a walk in the newly fallen leaves.

But you don’t need the excuse of cheering on your favorite team to pack a tote with the tasty recipes suggested in this issue for a tailgate picnic. Pack up, go out and enjoy a full day in the beautiful weather offered by this colorful season that always seems to short.

I, for one, look forward to those chilly fall evenings that seem to beg for a tasty bowl of soup, a crackling fire and a cozy chair to relax with a family game of Parchesi or my favorite needlework. This is just the time to finish up those projects that have been tucked away or to work on some for holiday giving. If you want something different to work on, stitch the plastic canvas sewing box in this issue, a quick yet welcome gift. Make it for friends or as a decorative storage space for your own sewing corner.

Whether you are a knitter, crocheter, tatter, stitcher or cook, there’s a project for everyone to enjoy.

Editor
