Original Polish 23 inch x 32 1/2 inch Poster for the 1975 Jean-François Dion French Drama THOMAS starring Nicole Courcel, Michel Bouquet, Patrick Le Mauff, Christine Boisson, Laurence de Monaghan and Marie-Hélène Dasté.
A young boy from a bourgeois family experiences the last moments of his youth in a small provincial town.
Poster art by Andrzej Klimowski. Klimowski was born of Polish parents in London in 1949. From 1968 to 1972 he studied sculpture and painting at St Martins School of Art and from 1973 to 1980 he lived and worked in Warsaw, the first two years of which he studied poster design under Professor Henryk Tomaszewski. He is Professor Emeritus for the School of Communication at the Royal College of Art in London.
The poster is in very good unfolded (rolled) condition with minor tattering in the lower right edge.
