Topps Star Wars 30th Anniversary – Base Card #42 – Parallel – Blue

THAT Cardboard presents this listing for a blue parallel of base card #42 from TOPPS' Star Wars 30th Anniversary set released in 2007. 

This card is in Very Fine\Near Mint condition and comes from a non-smoking, climate-controlled environment.

The odds of pulling a red parallel card was 1 in 12 hobby packs.

In celebration of the 30^th Anniversary of A New Hope, Topps released this 120 card set with new photos, inserts, autographs and sketches.

The base cards are a thick card stock with a semi-glossy finish. The design is reminiscent of the Death Star with lots of foil embossing around the cards. The border colours are also different for each sub-group of cards (Episode I, Episode II, etc.). Also, a Star Wars 30^th Anniversary logo is foil stamped on each base card.

The main hits per hobby box are autographs and sketches. Autographs included many behind-the-scenes members of the LucasFilm team, including John Williams. Sketches are drawn by many of the top sketch card artists with each contributing different quantities to the set.

Each box came with a box-topper which had a buyback card from the 77’ card series foil –stamped with the 30^th Anniversary logo.

A 27-card insert set called Triptychs was also part of the release. Also, foil variants (Red, Blue, Gold) of the base cards were inserted to add another layer to collecting the set.

The retail version of the product also had 3 exclusive insert sets.

Shipping and Packaging

• The Local Pickup option is available only to the Greater Toronto Area. Time and place will be determined by us.
• Shipping costs are calculated based on size and weight and the destination address.
• Multiple orders within a 48-hour period can be combined to save on shipping costs. Please contact us for a combined invoice before payment.
• Orders are shipped within 1-2 business days of receiving payment.
• All shipments will have delivery confirmation and insurance. A tracking number will be provided once the item ships.
• Item(s) will be packaged securely as possible to prevent damage.
• Premium hit cards (sketches, autographs, etc) will be packaged in a card sleeve and top-loader.
• Card sets will be packaged based on quantity in sleeves, team bags or cardboard boxes.
• We will only ship to verified Paypal addresses.

Shipping costs for single cards and sets are grouped usually by the number of cards and occasionally by weight (ie medallion cards, etc). Below are the typical number of trading cards for each group. Costs are usually an increase of $2-5 dollar per group.

• Group 1 – 1-3 trading cards (under 40 grams)
• Group 2 – 4-200 trading cards (under 500 grams)
• Group 3 – 200+ trading cards (over 500 grams)

Payment and Processing

• Payment will need to be received within 5 days of winning the auction. If there are any issues, please contact us.
• Paypal is the only accepted form of online payment. Cash is only available for the local pickup option (for GTA buyers only).
• Returns are accepted under certain conditions (ie not as described, etc). Please see our Return Policy.
• Feedback will be provided once the transaction has fully completed.

Duties & Taxes

• Canadian residents, tax will be automatically added to the purchase based on your province or territory. At this time, Saskatchewan residents are responsible for declaring their own provincial taxes.
• International residents, the value of the item will be declared on any required customs form.
• The Buyer is responsible for any additional fees or taxes.
