Seller's Description

Long thought of as some of the finest recordings for audio quality. This is a circa 1940's label from the RCA Victor Company. Here is a pair of Victor's fox trot tempos with vocals and orchestra, played by the legendary Glenn Miller and his Orchestra.

Mostly clear sounding audio with no cracks or skips, though some play wear and one tiny and incidental edge chip on the "B" side. A respectable gloss still shows! Minimal background hiss.

Side 27953-A presents the Johnny Mercer - Jerome Kern collaboration from the 1941 Columbia film "You Were Never Lovelier", "Dearly Beloved". Side 27953-B lists another Mercer/Kern writing from the same picture, "I'm Old Fashioned". Both offer vocal refrains by Skip Nelson.
