Tube Pocket Purse
A fashionable Purse with lots of pockets to carry all your accessories. Embellish your Tube Pocket Purse with Buttons, Fancy Ribbon, Beads, or a Pendant.
Have Fun Being Creative.
This Purse is Unique because it has NO Zippers. YEA!!
Fabric Requirements:
Tube Pocket Purse:
A— Main Fabric ½ yard
B— Lining Fabric ½ yard
C— Flannel Fabric* ½ yard
Medium Weight Interfacing for Front & Back Pockets ¼ yard
Light Weight Interlacing for Strap ¼ yard
*Note: I used flannel instead of batting. You can use Muslin for a lighter weight Purse, or your favorite batting.
My Husbands Jeans
Recycle those jeans that no longer fit, or just can’t be worn any more. Save extra pockets cut from old jeans to sew onto your Tube Pocket Purse for that extra special designers touch.
My Husbands Jeans:
1— Pair of large adult size jeans for the main fabric.
A— Denim Fabric, if not using jeans ½ yard
B— Lining Fabric ½ yard
C— Strap Fabric* ¼ yard
*Or purchase a strap the length and color you desire.
Supply List
Jean Needle, regular Velcro 5/8” wide, ½” Shank Button for Loop, Teflon Pressing Sheet, or Parchment Paper, Spray Sizing, Glue Stick, Decorative Pendant, Fancy Ribbon, Beads, Rhinestones, or your favorite Embellishments.
